    Description

    CoreStaff is currently looking for a Temporary Research and Development Laboratory Assistant for a 1 year contract in Fremont,CA.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a safe and compliant environment within the Research and Development laboratory through active participation in safety protocols and procedures.
    • Adhere meticulously to guidelines and best practices concerning lab notebooks, data storage, and backup procedures to ensure accurate and secure record-keeping.
    • Conduct comprehensive inventories of chemicals and consumables within the laboratory, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and canisters, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
    • Effectively organize and maintain lab storage areas to optimize accessibility and efficiency for all laboratory personnel.
    • Execute reactions, purifications, and chemical fillings in accordance with established protocols, meticulously documenting procedures and results.

    Requirements:

    • Enrollment in a college-level program with a major in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficiency in computer literacy for documentation and communication purposes.
    • Strong team player mentality with a steadfast commitment to prioritizing safety and adherence to protocols.
    • Must be able to work a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time) schedule.
