The Opportunity
Our location in Alameda, CA, currently has an opportunity for a Scientist I.


What You'll Work On
The Scientist I will primarily assist Senior Scientists with biosensor research.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences
  • Associates Degree will be accepted as well or equivalent experience
  • Prepare, inspect, and test prototype biosensors under supervision of Senior Scientists.
  • Maintain fabrication and testing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, coordinate calibration activities.
  • Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, including disposables and solutions.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data.
  • Communicate issues and results to management.
  • Maintain quality records such as batch records, lab notebooks, and equipment logbooks in accordance with GxP.
  • Contribute to design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
  • Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan. Free coverage applies in the next calendar year.

The base pay for this position is $73, $147, In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
