    Disciplina Capital Management – Investment Operations Associate

    Job Overview

    Primary duties include the input and management of data into financial systems used to calculate investment performance for client portfolios and the technological development of firmwide processes. These responsibilities will offer financial markets exposure and development of an understanding of the operational aspects of the investment management industry covering both traditional (global equities and fixed income) and alternative investments (hedge funds, natural resources, venture capital, and private equity). The Associate will be required to be onsite at firm headquarters in Nashville, TN and willing to be a consistent contributor to the firm with a team first mentality.

    Job Duties

    · Collect, organize, and manage the accuracy of data used for client reporting and investment analysis

    · Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for client portfolio reporting

    · Accurately manage and record capital activity flows (capital calls and distributions) for multiple client accounts

    · Gather, analyze, and review portfolio performance measurements and valuation reports for all traditional and alternative investments

    · Reconcile internally directed trades with the appropriate counterparty

    · Participate in firm meetings by documenting meeting notes and updating the internal database with relevant information

    · Initiate technological automation methods to enhance firm processes

    · Coordinate with team members and external vendors to correct errors

    · Organize and manage content for quarterly client meetings and presentations

    Desired Qualifications:

    · Degree(s): BS or BBA degree required

    · 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in the investment management industry

    · Majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or related discipline

    · Knowledge and interest in financial markets/money management

    · Dependable detail oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and an ability to work within a team framework

    · Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

    · Ability to successfully manage projects, problem solve, and multi-task

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

    · Familiarity with VBA, SQL, Python or other data analytic and visualization tools
