    Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
    • Define architectural vision, explore different approaches, develop models, and validate architectures to meet requirements.
    • Collaborate with product developers, managers, and customer experts to create software products with necessary features and enhancements.
    • Support migration of legacy tools to the cloud, while continuously enhancing capabilities for existing applications.
    • Offer technical guidance to stakeholders, integrate components developed by the team, and participate in various review processes.
    • Utilize Agile development, DevOps, USAID Cloud Architecture, and Cloud-native capabilities to transition legacy applications to cost-effective Cloud environments.
    • Update system documentation, requirements, and designs, while leveraging existing software to support ongoing projects.
    • Conduct IT readiness testing for equipment, software, and services used by BHA staff to ensure reliability during disaster response activations.
    • Ensure software meets quality and security standards and collaborate with various teams for effective software development.
    • Basic Qualifications:
    • Be a U.S. Citizen eligible for U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree with 8-11 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6-9 years, or a PhD with 3-6 years.
    • Possess at least 8 years of software development experience, including 3 years as a Software Architect, with expertise in software design and best practices.
    • Experience in coding languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Python, etc., along with proficiency in Cloud deployments and DevOps.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Recent experience in complex software development environments, strong attention to detail, and ability to translate complex requirements into actionable features.
    • Technical mindset, familiarity with Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS), and Azure or AWS Architecture Certification.
    • Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This range varies based on experience and other factors.
