    BlackRock SMA Solutions helps clients customize portfolios for unique tax, values-alignment, or investment exposures across direct indexing, fixed income, active equity, and multi-asset.

    We are looking for a Vice President to join the Commercial Strategy & Strategic Partnerships team within our SMA Solutions business unit.

    The Commercial Strategy & Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for leading commercial strategy efforts for the business, driving new and innovative product solutions, and engaging with our largest and most complex strategic partners.

    The Vice President position will be responsible for leading and managing cross-functional projects, becoming a subject matter expert in SMA industry data and trends, and producing strategic presentations for management.

    A strong team player is critical, as they will work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues across a number of departments, such as Portfolio Management, Sales, Research, Operations, Marketing and COO.

    Help drive forward strategic initiatives for the SMA Solutions Business in a multi-functional and adaptive role covering all aspects of the business – product development, sales strategy, and firm activation strategy
    Play key role in supporting new product development, platform launches and manage projects effectively to meet deadlines
    Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects, meetings and working groups
    Produce senior management presentations and business documents on industry trends, sales, performance, business reviews and platform strategies
    Provide accurate and timely data analysis and analytical support
    align with field initiatives and be responsive to field inquiries
    Work collaboratively and coordinate with partners within BlackRock to meet project deadlines and goals
    Effectively balance strategic and ad hoc projects
    Flexible, responsive and self-starting personality. A genuine inclination for quantitative analysis and the ability to work through complex problems and challenges to provide innovative insights
    Experience with retail financial advisor industry and familiarity with separately managed accounts a strong plus
    Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills including ability to manage projects independently
    5-8 years of relevant asset management industry experience with some Managed Account (SMA) experience preferred
    ~ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
