    Description
    Trident is looking for a Quality Manager to join our rapidly growing company.

    As a contract manufacturer of medical devices, we work with a wide range of customers from startups to large medical device OEMs with over $1B in sales.

    By combining our expertise in medical device manufacturing with our automotive heritage and mindset of continuous improvement, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers drive out cost and manufacturing risk prior to design freeze.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage and direct the work of the Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors
    Oversee Lot Release of Finished Product
    Manage Non-Conformances, from initial investigation through corrective and preventative actions
    Lead daily cross-functional Material Review Board meeting with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Management
    Prepare for and host External Audits (customers, 3rd party regulatory, etc...)
    Communicate with vendors regarding quality issues
    Work closely with Engineering on root cause investigation of failures
    Own and execute the Internal Audit program
    Manage Calibration of all internal Instruments & Gages


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent

    • 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering in the medical, automotive, or similar industries
    Quality Leadership strength - ability to determine whether a potential non-conformance is a violation of our customers explicit or implicit specifications and drive resolution
    Detail oriented project management mindset
    Ability to communicate complex technical content in an understandable way verbally and in writing
    Strong ability to manage technical documentation
    Preferred but not required - experience with quality aspects of one or more of the following manufacturing processes: injection molding of thermoplastics, die cutting, metal forming or machining, sterile barrier packaging, thermoforming of thermoplastics, ultrasonic welding, UV cure adhesives
