    Description

    Field Service Representative

    As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing on-site services such as preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines, primarily in the western USA. While being situated in the Bay Area is preferred, other locations within the territory are also viable. The base salary for this role ranges at $40.25 per hour and is contingent on technical and service expertise within the analytical instrumentation sector. In addition to the base salary, there are bonus opportunities available. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including monthly car allowances/mileage, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

    Responsibilities

    • Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region.
    • Managing inventory, planning trips, and handling administrative tasks related to service operations.
    • Traveling up to 75%, including overnight stays, for service and maintenance purposes.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining intricate analytical instruments.
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a dedicated focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Proficiency in interpreting electronic schematics, utilizing test equipment, and repair tools.
    • An associate's degree in engineering, chemistry (mandatory).
    • A valid driver's license and passport.
