    Job Description: MedService Repair – Field Service Engineer

    MedService Repair ) is a growing company looking to hire multiple Field Service Engineers in various locations across the United States. We have doubled our number of Service Team Members over the past year and are actively looking for more qualified people to join our team

    Training:

    New Hires will undergo onboarding / initial training at our Company Headquarters outside of Chicago, IL. Following initial onboarding, New Hires will receive in-the field training on multiple different Endoscope Reprocessor models while shadowing Current MedService Repair Field Service Engineers.

    After successful completion of training, New Hires will be expected to drive to local customer locations and fly to (when necessary) non-local customer locations to perform preventative maintenance, break / fix service, equipment installations, and other work to support current customers and help gain new customers.

    Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

    1. Performing diagnostic analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance on Endoscope Reprocessors
    2. Testing machines after performing repairs
    3. Communicating with team members through email, phone, and dispatch software
    4. Managing trunk stock / inventory
    5. Representing MedService Repair with the highest ethical values
    6. Refurbishing Endoscope Reprocessors from the part level
    7. Others duties as necessary

    5. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to work in teams
    6. Ability to physically move machinery required and working in tight confined spaces
    7. Physically fit to drive and work on medical equipment.
    8. Willing to travel when needed

    Prior qualifications and Education:

    1. The ideal candidate will have prior experience providing service and preventative maintenance on equipment (background working in hospitals and healthcare settings preferred, but not required).
    2. Experience in engineering-based roles (electrical or mechanical)
    3. Technical: Electrical Engineering skills, Knowledge of Mechatronics
    4. Computer: Proficient in Word, Excel and email
    5. Full clean driving license
