    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

    Our Emergency Services at Western Health are currently seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. Emergency Nurses have a strong clinical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with an inter-professional team to ensure that patient's receive the highest quality care when facing potentially life-threatening conditions. You will be supported by experienced Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Instructors who provide clinical education and supervision in this unit 7 days a week.

    Emergency Services at Western Health consists of adult emergency medicine and paediatrics, Short Stay Units and Rapid Assessment Discharge Units.

    To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent acute care experience in a Hospital setting
  • Critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions
  • A Post Graduate in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing is Highly desirable
  • Possess a strong will for a positive workplace culture and our patients to achieve an excellent patient experience.
  • Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess excellent clinical skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to rotating roster (including night duty and weekends)

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
    Sunshine
    Permanent Full Time / Part Time Positions available

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the team with in the Emergency Department at Sunshine. Our Emergency Nurses have a strong clinical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with an inter-professional team to ensure that patient's receive the highest quality care when facing potentially life-threatening conditions. You will be supported by experienced Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Instructors who provide clinical education and supervision in this unit 7 days a week.

    Sunshine Emergency Department is an Adult Emergency Department, which also includes a Short Stay Unit. Sunshine Hospital provides a variety of medical and surgical services. Some of the surgical services provided include Interventional Radiology, Orthopaedic, Thoracic, Neuro, ENT, Colorectal, Urology and General Surgery.

    To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
