    Are you a seasoned project management professional seeking a dynamic opportunity in the heart of Washington, DC? Our client, a leading organization partnered with Randstad, is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful development and implementation of project plans, schedules, forecasts, budgets, and accruals, specifically tailored to meet the unique Analytics needs of the organization, all while nurturing valuable consultant relationships and optimizing budget allocations.

    responsibilities:
    Strategic Planning and Execution: You will take the lead in developing comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals and objectives, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and adherence to established timelines. Your strategic foresight will drive the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, with a keen focus on delivering high-quality results within budgetary constraints.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration: As a Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between multiple departments and external vendors, fostering collaborative relationships to facilitate seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to navigate diverse stakeholder interests and perspectives will be instrumental in overcoming obstacles and driving consensus towards achieving project milestones.

    Vendor Management and Procurement: Effective vendor management is paramount to project success. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project requirements and contractual agreements. By implementing robust procurement processes and overseeing invoice management, you will uphold financial transparency and accountability while mitigating risks associated with vendor dependencies.

    Certification and Professional Development: While not mandatory, possessing certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) can enhance your candidacy for this role. These certifications signify your commitment to excellence in project management practices and your ability to navigate complex project environments with confidence and proficiency.
