    We are currently on a hybrid schedule (x2 a week in office, x3 a week remote).We are looking for an experienced finance/accounting professional to oversee daily operations of our finance department including general accounting, banking, cash management, investments, sales tax, general ledger and payroll management.

    The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller and the executive team to establish finance strategy and implement policies and procedures.

    The accounting and collections teams will report to the Assistant Controller, and the Assistant Controller reports to the Controller.


    Essential Functions:
    Process payroll twice a month.
    Reconciliation of bank statements and other balance sheet accountsJournal entry processing.
    Monthly financial reports preparation and analysisSends monthly departmental reports to Division HeadsAssist Controller and Executive Staff with preparing budgets.
    Assist Controller with preparing for the yearly review of financial statements.
    Lead technical strategy for accounting system.
    Maintain the accounting system and the financial report generation system.
    Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.


    Position Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.7-10 years of accounting experienceSales Tax processing experience.
    Prior supervisory experiencemonthly financial statement preparation and analysisPayroll ProcessingExperience with accounting software applications.
    Experience managing SAAS businesses.
    Meet due dates and deadlines.
    High level of accuracy.
    Detail orientated.
    Strong math aptitudeKnowledge of general accounting.
    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
