    The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a(n) Manager, Engineering - Electrical, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.


    Here, you will make an impact by:
    Managing day to day performance of a team of electrical engineers.
    Designing complex analog and digital electronics for sensors and pneumatic controls.
    Providing electrical engineering guidance and decision-making support to direct reports and indirect teams of consultants.
    Leading electrical engineering responsibilities for concept and feasibility development of new product innovations.

    Designing electrical circuits and modify layouts of printed circuit boardsLeading Engineering Change Orders for electronic design changes while working with cross-functional team including ME, SW, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Quality.

    Conducting product development activities such as prototyping/testing and support pilot builds, verification & validation activities, and risk assessment.

    Interfacing with internal and external suppliers, manufacturers, support the design and qualification of test and fabrication fixturesCreating clear product requirements to translate into designs.

    Identifying and mitigating design and product risksYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.8+ years of electrical engineering with some medical device experience required.2+ years of engineering management or project management experience required.

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
    Experience developing products from concept to launch.
    Experience with sustaining change management.
    Experience in analog circuit design involving ADC, DAC, op-amps, solenoids, motor drivers and switching regulators.

    Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar CAD software for electrical circuits designAbility to identify hurdles and introduce improvements to current design processesExperience designing medical products for compliance to Safety, EMC and wireless specifications.

    Ability to troubleshoot complex PCBs.
    Understanding of design controls and change management specifically electrical sub-system architecture and requirements.

    Knowledge of ISO, regulatory and legislative standards applicable to the development of medical devicesAbility to identify the root cause of issues affecting a design using different methodologies and documenting the findings.

    Ability to identify potential issues, assess their impact, and develop and implement mitigation and resolution plans and activities with limited guidance.

    Base range in California for the Manager, Engineering – Electrical position is $139,800 – 165,000 with a 15% targeted bonus.

    Additional benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, paid leaves, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays and potential for tuition reimbursement.

    Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
