The salary range for this position is $45.00-$48.00 per hour.


Position Summary:


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of aerospace method engineers, N/C programmers, Tool Designer and support personnel.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to team members
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Implement quality assurance protocols and procedures
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with other departments such as production, design engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance
  • Provide engineering support to resolve technical issues and address design challenges
  • Lead engineering projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product development
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, and escalate issues as needed.

Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in aerospace manufacturing engineering, with demonstrated expertise in process optimization, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of effectively leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and familiarity with manufacturing automation and robotics.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and present technical information to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as AS9100, FAA regulations, and aerospace quality standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
