    Job DescriptionVaco is currently hiring for several Legal Billing Assistants to join a fast-growing accounting team in Columbia, SC.

    Overview:
    The Accounting Department handles the needs of our law offices across the country. Our team thrives on communication, accuracy, and a desire to serve our clients.

    Responsibilities:
    • Handle busy inbox
    • Edit and prepare invoices
    • Communicate and manage billing needs
    • Work directly with attorneys and assistants
    • Searching each financial statement for any payment inconsistencies or errors
    • Collaborating with customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
    • Creating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to a customer
    • Inputting payment history, upcoming payment information or other financial data into an individual account
    • Informing customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines
    • Other duties as given

    Skills
    • Legal Billing experience
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Strong 10-key and typing
