- Manage directly or through subordinate supervisors the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering team assigned to one or multiple Business Units
- Provide hands on management of installation, preventive maintenance and repair/improvement of plant equipment
- Use of the Lockout/Tag out procedures to ensure safe repair/maintenance on machines/equipment
- Maintain and continuously improve use of the preventive maintenance program
- Read and interpret schematics/equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Assure all safety regulations are followed and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Research, design and implement new technology to improve equipment performance and quality to the customer
- Lead engineering change management activities
- Support procurement process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- 8+ years of work experience required
- People management experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical and industrial fabrication
- Understanding and support of continuous improvement
- Knowledge of PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic design and repair
