We are seeking an Evolv Account Executive for our Kalamazoo office.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 2year previous successful account development, sales or relevant experience preferred.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Seeking a proactive hunter to prospect for new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fastpaced environment
  • Work requires travel to current and potential customers. This requires possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills

What You Are Accountable For:

  • Responsible for being the Subject Matter Expert for Evolv Technology.
  • Lead sales initiatives for Evolv at Knight Watch.
  • Ability to support our sales team in building, developing and closing Evolv projects.
  • Train the sales team to successfully prospect and identify opportunities.
  • Prospect, identify, and close Evolv projects as an individual contributor.
  • Build and maintain a positive business relationship with the manufacturer.
  • Maintain a pipeline sufficient to support quota achievement.
  • Accurately forecast business monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Accompany sales representatives on customer visits.
  • Reporting business activity and results to management.
  • Role is based around Evolv sales. Security, Fire Alarm, and HVAC controls are crossover sales and do include commission splits for new business.
  • Assist Account Executives with existing and new business accounts.
  • Utilize quoting tools.
  • Regularly invest time in finding new RFP opportunities.
  • Perform work to respond to RFP's.
  • Attend manufacturer trainings.
  • Learn from the Engineering team how to properly design projects.
  • Participate in Trade Shows and company sponsored events.
  • Renew maintenance and monitoring contracts.
