Job Description Overview
- The Plant Manager position is responsible for supervision of PRAB/Hapman production managers, manufacturing administrative assistant and shipping supervisor, monitoring equipment and parts orders to level shop scheduling, and continue to work on facility and process improvements (5S and Kaizen). This position reports to the Vice President, Manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Department Manager
- KMC Global Appendix A
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- ERP Software knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree
- Manufacturing Environment
- Seven to tenyears' plant management experience
Responsibilities
- Promote excellence throughout the department
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing techniques
- Research and implement new manufacturing technologies
- Dialogue with Sales, Engineering, Production Control, and Customer Service
- Continuous improvement of the process instruction and fabrication kit program
- Responsible for the facility maintenance program
- Responsible for the equipment maintenance program
- Regulatory compliance
- Train and sustain the 5S program, PRAB Production System and other manufacturing training programs
- Maintain a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety
- Maintenance of quality control/assurance plan
- Proficient knowledge of Visual ERP
- Proficient knowledge of MSS
- Employee Relation Skills
- Labor and Expense Report Maintenance
- Manufacturing Scheduling Administration
