Exciting times await at Neomonde Mediterranean With consistent top-line growth, imminent expansion plans, and the transition to second-generation leadership, we're revamping our human resources support model. We're currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to take on a crucial role in talent development and bolster our expanding team. Our workforce consists of 100 employees, including management and administrative roles.
The HR Manager will be instrumental in shaping business outcomes through talent development. When navigating intricate challenges and seizing opportunities, the HR manager is our go-to resource. If you have a proven track record in designing and implementing training programs within the restaurant industry and are enthusiastic about driving business success through people, we'd like to hear from you
Responsibilities:
Strategic Collaboration:
Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to company leaders by developing a deep understanding of the business objectives and collaborating on development and implementation of talent strategies. Act as a primary thought partner to leadership team, providing human capital consultation and guidance.
Develop Recruiting, Onboarding & Training Programs
Design and implement recruiting and training programs for various positions within the restaurant, including all FOH and BOH staff, supervisors, and GMs. The training program should include new job descriptions for all positions, new materials for distribution, and an online training module. Identify areas for improvement in employee skills and performance and develop ongoing training initiatives to address these areas. Stay updated on industry trends, food safety regulations, and customer service standards to incorporate into training programs.
Organization Design:
Partner with leaders to assess organizational structures, recommending and implementing changes that optimize effectiveness, efficiency, and team member engagement.
Team Building and Leadership Development
Execute strategies and programs to enhance team member engagement, foster a positive and collaborative work culture, and promote team member growth and retention. Provide leadership development programs for supervisory and management staff.
Performance Management
Assess employee performance through training evaluations and feedback mechanisms, adjusting training programs as needed. Work closely with management to address performance gaps and provide additional training or support.
Data Driven Insights
Utilize technology to provide insights, track progress and make data-informed decisions related to talent, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field
· 4+ year's experience as an HR Manager in the restaurant industry
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to translate the business agenda into HR Strategy and lead from conception through execution
· Experience implementing core processes and delivering continuous improvements over short-term and long-term horizons
· Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders and delivering results through others without direct authority
· A track record of strong coaching, conflict management and influence up, down and across the organization
· Strong background in change management, leadership development and organization design
· Created and implemented successful training programs for small to medium size restaurants
