    Role purposeWhy does this role exist in the organisation?Working in the Compliance and Risk Team.

    You will be working as a Team Lead in delivering the day-to-day operations of a wide range of compliance processes being delivered from the service centre.

    This is a generalist role where you would be expected to get involved with all areas of the compliance and risk function.

    To assist in co-ordinating, directing and instructing the team towards delivering KPIs in line with prescribed target. Prioritize and organize work on a daily basis according to business priorities. Review deliverables of the analysts, identify behaviours that deviate from the norm and escalate as required.
    Key accountabilitiesDescribe the areas the role is ultimately responsible for.

    Assign activities to the Analyst for action.

    Manage and delegate work fairly and effectively within the teamRequest and ensure that the team has access to all the required applications required for the processReview the work of the analyst to ensure quality is maintained and processes are followed as given in the procedure documents.

    Ensure adherence to SLAs and TATs.
    Ensure that procedure documents and training material are up-to-date and accurate.

    Timely MIS and ReportingDevelop an in depth understanding of the technical aspects of the processSet objectives for direct reports, conduct regular appraisals and manage performance conversations.

    Provide direction and guidance to the team on a day to day basisIdentify and develop leadership qualities in individuals and groom them for the next levelResponsible for managing leaves and absenteeism in the team.

    Supports team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of officeExperience and personal qualitiesDescribe the work experience (nature and time) and personal qualities (skills, behaviours and attitudes) that would be required from candidates.

    Education – Any Graduate, Any SpecializationExperience - 5-7 years' experience in Anti-Money Laundering/ KYC Compliance & Risk or Shared Service Set UpPrevious experience of Accreditation, Sanction Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Fraud Analysis experience is preferred.

    Good Interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills in English – both written and verbalGood Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially MS-EXCELThe ability to manage across multiple time zones within a fast-paced and diverse cultural environmentResult Driven and passionate about qualityStrong creative problem solving and analytical thinkingPeople and Process ManagementAbility to deal with customers and employees at all levels within the organisationSimilar Jobs (1)
