    Description

    Assist Supply Chain Manager in maintaining good supplier relations and be able to fill in when manager is away from the office. + Issue requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP) and select best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirement.

    + Demonstrate excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

    + Identify waste and seek opportunities for cost reduction in the supply chain (examples optimize freight or order size)

    + Conduct cost analysis on various aspects of the supply chain.

    + Utilize established processes and procedures, while working to identify methods for improvement.

    + Work in a customer-centric manner

    + Represent the company positively through supplier relations

    + Support the Supply Chain Manager as necessary with any special projects or necessary research

    Leadership and contribution to the overall success of SBI

    + Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Economics preferred

    1-5 Years of experience in Planning (ERP) and Procurement Preferred

    APICS, CPM or similar certification preferred

    Experience with ERP System(s), Oracle (Peoplesoft) preferred
