    This position is responsible for purchasing of materials, demand planning, and the overall supply chain management for the BU.

    He/she oversees the implementation of supply chain strategies, develops & implements methods and processes for efficient supply chains, establishing priorities, supervising personnel and striving for continuous improvements.

    ResponsibilitiesDevelops/Maintains profitable supply chain plan for existing and new product introduction by coordinating requirements across various functional areas to include Purchasing, Demand Planning, Labor and Resource Planning, Shipping, Receiving, Material Handling and Inventory control functionsOverall accountability for adherence to supply chain and cost reductions targets, supplier delivery requirements, overseeing demand planning activities; monitoring progress, revising schedules and resolving cross departmental problemsAchieves financial objectives by; compiling and studying costs; initiating corrective actions and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.

    Defines and recommends departmental objectives, prepares budgets and cost reductions targets.
    Develops monitors and analyzes key performance indicators for supply chain activities.

    Support Project management decisions concerning the outsourcing of products after reviewing internal capacity, capabilities and production schedulingAssist with the development of various business related forecastCoordinate with Product Management group to aid in the "make/buy" product decisions which this position is the final decision maker.

    QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline from an accredited university, MBA desired, or equivalent industry experience.7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management & operations management, project management & team leadership skillsStrong success record implementing supply chain improvements which effect bottom line results.

    Supervisory experience; leading and motivating others to accomplish business objectivesExperience leading others in multiple locationsExperience in
    • Planning and implementing business process improvements, Manufacturing Control Planning, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Production Planning, and full cycle Project Management.
    Experience driving, managing and leading change efforts targeted at improving costs and service.
