WASTE WATER TECHNICIAN NEEDED FOR A 2ND SHIFT - PLEASE CALL OR TEXT MARIA AT

CALL IMMEDIATELY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor, start-up and shut down the Wastewater Treatment System and Control program
Perform tasks related to the treatment System including
- Monitor and clean the filter press, microfilter, pumps, strainers
- Monitor, calibrate, and maintain instruments
- Conduct simple lab and bench tests and interpret results

Calculate and add treatment chemicals for different wastewater sources

Troubleshoot and respond to system problems
Perform daily chemical inventory
Maintain clean work areas
Ability to adjust priorities and activities based on observed or reported deficiencies
may be required to perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to work other shifts or on weekends as required for the Production schedule

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED

The ability to read write and understand English
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
Must have excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management and plant employees
Prior experience in wastewater treatment or plating preferred
Capable of being certified in forklift operations
Practical experience specifically related to chemical processing, and wastewater treatment
