    Business Development Associate

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

DIG Restaurant Group is searching for a skilled Business Development Associate who will take charge of increasing sales, enhancing brand awareness, and driving marketing and innovation initiatives in key markets. As a collaborative marketer, you will team up with various departments across the organization to achieve business objectives, analyze performance metrics, and work closely with marketing and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to fruition. This is a hybrid position that will require you to work on-site at our restaurants, traveling across the Mid-Atlantic region on a weekly basis.

In this role, you will collaborate with several teams at DIG, including Marketing, Innovation, and others, to develop field activations, organize events, support business development, launch new openings, and manage other projects to promote growth. The Field Marketing Specialist's success will be determined by revenue growth, establishing strong relationships with field team members, identifying promising new partnerships, and providing exceptional customer service at every touchpoint. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Associate will work on cross-functional strategic initiatives to drive growth and performance in key markets.

    YOU WILL:
    • Support catering business in key markets by identifying and establishing relationships with new and existing corporate customers.
    • Plan and execute marketing events and activations for campaigns, restaurant openings, and key markets.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing plans for DIG's core business and new initiatives.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and client service and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform marketing and outreach strategies.
    • Coordinate with Operations teams to execute revenue-driving initiatives in the market.
    • Conduct market research and engage with clients directly to improve product-market fit.
    • Test, measure, report, and optimize tactics based on business and brand objectives.
    • Work on cross-functional strategic projects with other teams to drive revenue growth.
    YOU HAVE:
    • 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience (field marketing, events, sales, etc.)
    • Proven project management and communication skills.
    • Strong ownership and pride in your work - you aim for impact and you have a passion for results.
    • The ability to work at a strategic level, but you're equally as happy getting your hands dirty.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to engage with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
    • Amazing interpersonal, client-facing communication skills that you love to show off on a daily basis.
    • Never-say-die attitude to finding the right person, establishing the right connection, attending the right event, etc.
    • The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at a given time.
    • A desire to never stop learning - both personally and professionally.
    • Curiosity about the world, food, and people
    • Must be based in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area
    • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time
    COMPENSATION:

    Salary Range: $60,000-70,000/year

Our salary ranges are rooted in the desire to pay competitively relative to our organization size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package; additional components include a bonus potential, healthcare benefits, various work perks (commuter benefits, free lunch) as well as opportunities for continued growth at DIG.
