    SBM Management is searching for a

    Senior Design Director, Creative


    to join our team The Senior Design Director, Creative will work directly with the VP of Creative to help shape and craft new and refreshing branding approaches to the growing SBM Brand.

    The role is responsible for devising visual approaches that deliver impact at scale, executing sophisticated visual deliverables across a variety of mediums, and designing to different audiences (e.g. Brand vs Growth marketing).

    Responsibilities:


    Produce best-in-class branded visuals that are unique, cohesive, and beautiful — for use in assets across multiple mediums and channels.

    Lead and iterate compelling visual storytelling to generate thoughtful ideas, compelling narratives, and scalable concepts.

    Lead design deliverables like:
    layouts & advertising, social media posts, web banners, email marketing design, web landing pages, brochures and digital collateral, trade show graphics, with light video and animation

    Lead the highest quality of design throughout all phases of the process — sketching, refining working design prototypes, and final production.

    Lead brainstorms and critiques with genuine interest in finding the best solution for engaging new and existing our audiences.
    Ensure that every brief meets business goals and creative standards.
    Ensure a consistent and cohesive brand language by collaborating across departments (Brand and
    Mentor and inspire junior creatives when needed.
    Stay connected to the latest standards and trends in the design field.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Advertising or Graphic Design (or equivalent)

    Minimum of 7-10 years design experience, working on professional creative teams on a variety of messaging goals and visual deliverables

    Strong background in brand marketing, but including 360° campaigns including digital (paid social, banners, direct response design)

    Online portfolio demonstrating a solutions-based approach to innovative and inspired ideas and design with several examples

    Relevant knowledge of current trends in typography, photography, illustration, video

    Working knowledge of relevant software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Google Slides, After Effects)

    May be required to have a valid driver's license.

    Strong visualization skills (e.g. comping, sketching) and skills art directing digital mediums (web, video, motion)

    In-House experience:
    fluid, faced-paced environment, with ability to multitask within a day

    Easy and positive collaborator across departments, contractors, and agencies

    Ability to define, establish, and explain various design standards used in high quality visuals.

    Experience in photo art direction

    Flexible but pragmatic, detail-oriented when necessary

    Digital marketing background a plus (e.g. performance metrics and digital platforms)

    Compensation:
    $170,000 per year
