My passion within the design world stems from my interest in how people respond to and feel in the spaces they occupy, not just visually, but in all aspects of perception. I like to use creative problem solving to find answers to design questions and problems, and my goals are to create user-friendly designs in a universal sense. Regardless of who is using the spaces I design, I want them to feel like the space was made with them in mind. If I am able to create design that incorporates a client’s wants/needs/wishes, but also incorporate aspects of sustainability, whether it be blatantly obvious or with subtlety, that is a success.

National Business Furniture, Space Planner & Designer: provided floor plans and renderings based on customer furniture selections, worked with sales representatives to ensure code compliance, added finish details from customer selection to quotes, created and maintained various team-used templates in design softwares, and maintained in-house symbol library.

National Business Furniture, Space Planning & Design Assistant: audited customer quotes for finish selection and pricing accuracy, processed quotes to orders, sent various documentation to vendors for ordering, calculated commission, obtained freight quotes with stock analysis, checked drawings for code violations, and interpreted vendor pricing and discounting to apply to customer quotes.

Beans & Barley, Receiver & Cashier: customer service, create and maintain merchandise displays, tidy sales floor, general stock upkeep, inventory, and placing and receiving orders.
