- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on digital measurement and analytics.
- 5+ years of experience with Adobe digital measurement toolset including Analytics, Target, and Audience Manager
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics software such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, and other Adobe tools including implementation, configuration, and customization.
- Strong technical skills in data processing frameworks, programming languages, and database technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of digital media and fan engagement trends in the sports industry.
- Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Data Collection and associated SDKs.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Develop and implement a best-in-class digital measurement infrastructure for MLB's digital products spanning web, mobile applications and connected devices, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to define measurement frameworks and establish industry-leading standards for digital analytics.
- Partner with product, engineering and partner teams to define specific analytics features and requirements and ensure comprehensive tracking of fan interactions
- Lead a team of solution architects, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to drive successful project execution.
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of product analytics software, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Drive the adoption of data governance best practices and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital measurement and analytics, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
