    Description

    Position: Electronics Assembler
    Type:     Contract position
    Pay:     $20-$22 per hour, DOE
    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30AM – 3:00PM

    The Electronic Assembler must have some knowledge of standard practices and procedures required for a manufacturing environment. The Electronic Assembler will work under general supervision, and report to the Production Supervisor.

    Job Details:

    Assemble, re-assemble, or re-work medical devices following design procedures or drawings.
    - Performs electronic/mechanical (through hole) soldering.
    - Complete a variety of assembly and non-assembly tasks.
    - Follow general safety/chemical requirements.
    - Complete other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    2+ years of electronic assembly experience in preferred.
    - Ability to read and interpret procedures and drawings.
    - Soldering experience and ESD knowledge are preferred.
    - Able to work independently and under pressure.
    - Ability to work in a team environment.
    - Ability to follow FDA, GMP, ISO policies and procedures.
    - Ability to understand and communicate in written and verbal English.
    - Ability to work with hands; to use small tools such as solder irons, screwdrivers, precision measuring instruments and electronic assembly equipment.
    - Ability to sit for extended periods, to lift up to 20 pounds to shoulder height.
    - Requires reasonable visual acuity.
