    Description

    Electronic Assembler - Verathon

    Verathon is looking for an Electronic Assembler to become the newest member of Manufacturing Team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters. Minimal experience in the field or in a related area is satisfactory, with fine pitch soldering experience preferred. The Electronic Assembler must have some knowledge of standard practices and procedures required for a manufacturing environment. The Electronic Assembler will work under general supervision, and report to the Production Supervisor. This role is temp-to-hire, working 6:30 am - 3 pm, with potential for overtime.

    Principal Duties:

    • Assemble, re-assemble, or re-work medical devices following design procedures or drawings
    • Performs electronic and mechanical through hole soldering
    • Follow Verathon workmanship standards
    • Complete a variety of assembly and non-assembly tasks
    • Follow general safety/chemical requirements
    • Follow Verathon policies and procedures

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • 2+ years of electronic assembly experience is preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret procedures and drawings
    • Soldering with microscope and ESD knowledge are preferred
    • Able to work independently and under pressure
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to follow FDA, GMP, ISO policies and procedures
    • Ability to understand and communicate in written and verbal English
    • Ability to work with hands; to use small tools such as solder irons, screwdrivers, precision measuring instruments and electronic assembly equipment
    • Ability to sit for extended periods, to lift up to 20 lbs to shoulder height
    • Requires reasonable visual acuity
