Job Functions (Essential)Design control system platformsLeverage global knowledge base to support R&D developments and customized deploymentsProgram PLC's and HMI's to meet project requirementsDevelop special customer applications with MTU controls systemDesign controls system for R&D programs Interface electrical and mechanical applications and systems with the MTU controls systemWork directly with controls and governor manufacturers to improve functionality and mitigate issuesSpecify, design, validate, and maintain networking systems Hardware responsibilities:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3 years of controls engineering experience; or 7 years of controls engineering experienceDependable, Creative, Versatile, Flexible and Team Orientated Strong programming skills (PLC programming, function block, structure text, scripted languages, Boolean/digital logic).
Strong device communication skills (TCP-IP, Modbus and CANbus)
Strong knowledge of power systems (fundamentals, paralleling system management, power electronics)Strong ability to organize and manage multiple tasksStrong ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints, line drawings and ladder diagramsAbility to travel to customer and manufactures sitesPreferred:1.
