Summary:


Ensure deliberate coordination and integration of activities through strategic communication and oversight mechanisms to promote enterprise wide, transparency and visibility into continued US Space Force implementation and integration efforts.

Provide direct support to the Director of Organizational Change Management, Director of Staff, and Vice Chief of Space Operations, as needed, to advise senior leader decision making on force management integration efforts.

These efforts include but are not limited to USSF force policy refinement, facilitating Space Staff change initiatives and coordinating equitable and appropriate resourcing to meet validated and prioritized staff requirements.

Activities include identify and analyze DOTMLP-F implementation of
USSF requirements and provide decision support and analysis forHQSF POM submission. Additionally, this team is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing force management activities for the USSF HQS.


Key responsibilities:


  • Routinely perform analysis and projects on an independent basis on a variety of topics, briefing successively senior leaders on the method of analysis, periodic inprogress reviews of analysis/project, and prepare/brief final products.
  • Analysis topics may include: Assessing Headquarters Space Force (HQSF) US Code Title 10 service functions supporting the Space Force, organizational design, structure, and resources alignment with functional requirements, and developing options that would improve alignment and functional performance.
  • Performing analysis of Space Force headquarters and forcewide administrative control and base operating support (workforce management, financial management, civil engineering, etc.) to improve achievability of Department of the Air Force objectives for Great Power Competition.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Top Secret security clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Over eighteen (18) years of progressive experience in executive/stafflevel organizational support services
  • Familiarity with Defense Space and National Security Space in the areas of strategy, requirements, capabilities, analysis, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations.
  • Familiarity with civil, commercial, and international space capabilities and architectures
  • Familiarity with DoD and/or Service policy and policy development processes
  • Familiarity with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program and FOIA reviews
  • Familiarity with Service Governance structures
  • This work requires you to be 100% onsite.

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • US Space Force, US Air Force, or other US military service force management schooling and experience
  • Experience supporting the planning, programing, budgeting, and execution process for the US Space Force, US Air Force or other US military service.
  • Service in the Headquarters, US Space Force, US Air Force, or other US military service staff
  • Familiarity with TMT and/or or other HQ staffing tools
