    Description
    The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.
    Part-time role, M-F between 6:30a & 6:30p, 8-hour shifts between our 2 Eden Prairie clinics and Chaska. Candidate must be flexible to work at different locations where coverage is needed. Shifts will be decided by supervisor on clinic needs. Hours can/will vary pending on coverage needed in West Metro offices.
    A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for sign-on bonus.

    Essential Functions:
    Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo IDVerify and document insurance information as defined by current business practicesAccurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management systemCommunicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copaymentsChart preparation and managementMaintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networksMaintain timely communication with patients, families, and staffAssist in various areas of the clinic as neededAny and all other duties as assignedEducation and

    Experience Requirements:
    High School diploma/GED or equivalentProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelCustomer Service experience requiredAdministrative or Medical Office experience preferred

    Essential Requirements:
    Ability to:Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
    Complete job required training.
    Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)

    Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendanceWork in the clinic during business hours Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be requiredWork at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlinesCommunicate and interact in a respectful and professional mannerPrioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operationsApply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsUnderstand and execute a variety of instructionsEffectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone systemWork independently with minimal supervisionTravel to other work locations, if requiredPerformance Expectations - i-Health's Core Values:
