    Description TITLE:

    VENDOR MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTThe position of a Vendor Management Specialist is to provide assistance organize and manage the company's third-party vendor process, as well as new and existing third-party relationships.

    This position includes researching and gathering the appropriate information to accurately assess the vendor's risk level, completing the vetting process to approve the vendor, and working with legal and respective management team to approve and execute agreements.

    Candidates should be self-motivated, well organized and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This position reports to the Manager of Vendor Management.

    EXAMPLES OF TASKS Utilize vendor management database to add, maintain, track, and organize third-party vendors to ensure all required documents are uploaded and updated at all-time Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, and provide excellent service to internal and external partners Initiate vendor evaluation, coordinate set-up process and manage ad hoc requests, Board potential vendors and ensure they meet requirements prior to conducting business Coordinate the review, approval, and execution of various Agreements with Legal and the management team Request, review, verify and monitor contract terms, business license, insurance, and other documentation for each vendor Prepare monthly summary and status reports on active and prospect vendors Maintain User access lists, audit User access quarterly and add or remove access as required Perform annual due diligence on vendors as defined in the policies Assist in the vendor onsite inspection/audit as needed Other duties and responsibilities as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Proficient interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

    Excellent organization and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and solving skills. Ability to follow written and verbal directives. Ability to work independently. Demonstrate a high level of reliability and job-stability.
    Position Vendor Managment Specialist Position Requirements REQUIREMENTS High-school diploma or equivalent required (college degree or coursework preferred). Minimum of 2 years in a customer focused or administrative position required (vendor management experience preferred).
