    Overview:

    Description of Position: The Supplier Specialist is responsible maintaining up-to-date and accurate supplier information in the companys Supplier Management and Procure-to-Pay systems.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:
    Monitor and complete requests for additions or changes to the supplier database to ensure timely and appropriate activations, de-activations, and changes
    Provide follow up and technical assistance to external suppliers and internal users
    Review supplier database to ensure data integrity and compliance including updated certificates of insurances and contracts
    Implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across multiple systems
    Develop reporting to present metrics to management
    Manage projects as needed under the direction of Manager

    Qualifications Mandatory:
    High school diploma
    Excellent data entry and quality assurance skills
    Follows detailed instructions
    Maintains confidentiality
    Excellent writing and grammar skills, ability to write concisely, clearly, and logically
    Ability to hear and answer questions perceptively
    Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel

    Qualifications Preferred:
    Bachelors degree
    4-6 years Supplier Management experience
    Experience supporting programs related to change management initiatives
    Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
