    Description
    Gridiron IT is seeking an IT Property Manager/ Document Control Specialist to support the USCIS in Irving, TX.


    Duties:
    Receipt of equipment already in SAMS from other USCIS organizations is an Inventory Clerk's function.


    • Receive shipments.
    • This task overlaps Stock Management but concentrates on the Property Management function.
    • Process G-504 transfer documents on receipt and update SAMS.
    • Create G-504 transfer documents before transfer; update SAMS, create SAMS transfer requests and associated emails to receiving custodians.
    • Follow Excess process for equipment that the Government determines should be excessed:
    o Conduct an ad hoc inventory
    o Transfer equipment to the USCIS-OIT-EXCESS steward. Create G-504 transfer documents.
    o Work with the Office of Administration Asset Management Branch to physically transfer the
    equipment.
    o Create transfer requests in SAMS.


    • General Administration
    • As directed assist the federal staff in monitoring the Site Property Management group mailbox.
    • Alert the Property Custodians to emails requiring action.
    • Produce Weekly On Hand and Monthly Delta Reports based on the Site SAMS group (as required)

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Associate's Degree or higher and/or 5-15 years of experience.
    • Experience with Microsoft Word - ability to develop and use style sheets, understanding the use of revision marking, Ability to create and maintain automated tables of contents and tables of figures, ability to use and create style sheets.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel and or SharePoint - ability to generate and maintain cross linked tables. Ability to create complex cascading formats, Ability to create pivot tables.
    • Systems experience using Asset Management System Sunflower
    • Experience with at least one of the following:
    • Experience Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2012
    • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
