**Minimum Requirements:**

HS diploma.

Registered technician through the TX Board of Pharmacy.

Experience with inventory management processes and system.

Minimum three years of experience in shipping and receiving.

**Qualifications:**

Fundamental knowledge of computers including

Ability to create and manipulate MS Word documents

Ability to create and manipulate MS Excel documents

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Ensures all inventory is secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.

Maintains controls over various types of inventories.

Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.

Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.

Conducts analyses of inventory levels to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.

Conducts and coordinates, through various mechanisms the ordering of inventory for clinical trials.

Ensures the accurate and secure documentation of inventory records.

Analyzes, investigates, and corrects inventory discrepancies. Prepares reports of results and conclusions.

Reconciles carrier invoices with shipping manifest for accuracy.

Reconciles shipping supply packing slips with invoices and forwards to manager with appropriate notations.

Prepares medications as needed for shipment to ensure integrity, sterility, and stability of drugs and supplies to ultimately maintain the safety of the patient.

Follows all designated checklists supplied with an attention to detail.

Other duties as assigned.
