    team. This position will report to the

    Sales Director

    for

    Scapa Industrial Tapes

    North America

    and will

    be

    responsible for

    hunting large new B2B opportunities

    while

    also

    managing

    existing

    complex key accounts

    .

    Territory is west of the Mississippi River

    with pri

    mary focus on building envelope,

    construction and oil and gas pipeline.

    ESPONSIBILITIES
    Prospect and collaborate with customer technical teams to

    uncover and

    define unmet needs which can ultimately be fulfilled through Scapa Industrial

    Tape

    solutions.
    Build a pipeline to ensure growth for the future and close new business to hit revenue targets.
    Communicate and be influential to lead development projects with

    R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain

    , Customer Service

    and Plant Operations

    .
    Drive growth by

    gaining market share and maximizing value for both Scapa and our customers.
    Must have technical competency, strong communication skills, ability to

    actively

    listen and ask

    good

    questions.

    Retention and expansion of accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers and users within an organization.

    Provide direct account management and resource coordination.
    Work with a sense of curiosity and creativity to identify opportunity and to deliver results.
    Customer focused mindset, high sense of urgency, accountability, and sound commercial decision making.
    Continually develop and apply strong economic thinking skills and prioritization based on economic value across all commercial activities.
    Negotiate deals with disciplined market point-of-

    views and

    supporting competitive market

    analysis.
    Experience with account planning that focuses on both short-term and long-term opportunities.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree

    (technical field is a plus)
    8

    years e

    xperience

    in

    a hunter sales position with proven results.
    Equally comf

    ortable in

    heavily industrial, board

    room and

    laboratory setting

    s

    .
    Experience in

    B2B

    sales of

    technical consumable materials. Ta

    rget candidate has experience selling

    one or more of the following: adhesives, tapes,

    chemicals

    or other construction related materials.
    Excellent communication, organization, collaboration,

    presentation

    and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company and with all external clients
    Experience

    with

    negotiating

    contracts,

    pricing

    and terms.
    Ability to travel up to 50

    %, including overnight travel.
