**Were adding a Sales Manager to the Vector Security team to support sales along the I64 Corridor (Virginia Beach to Harrisonburg, VA)** We need a proven sales leader to coach, mentor and guide our sales team to success. If you are energized by helping others exceed their potential, this is your opportunity.
**What You Will Do:**
Maximize revenue and gross margin by growing sales while identifying and developing new customer opportunities at a level consistent with or exceeding company expectations.
Pre-plan prior to the beginning of each sales period by holding a one on one meeting with each representative, strategizing on how best to achieve goals and objectives, and when applicable, helping representatives define target accounts
Conducts effective one on one weekly sales meetings with sales representatives by communicating sales objectives and programs, identifying opportunities, reviewing performance against goals, and guiding team members on how to close gaps.
Develops and reviews performance enhancement plans for each sales representative by maintaining training files, conducting evaluations, monitoring 90 day evaluations on new hires, performing coaching calls, and following up on progress as needed.
Addresses any skill deficiencies of sales representatives by developing customized coaching plans, tracking progress and recording improvement against them.
Participate in field sales calls in order to coach/mentor reps to success
Participates in the associate interview and selection process by working with human resources to source candidates, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, and manage the on-boarding process.
Resolves customer issues by following appropriate administrative processes and company policies and escalating issues to management as appropriate.
Collaborate with Install and Service department management to ensure excellent customer service
Maintains professional and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
Enhances Vectors branding by participating in community and business activities
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
**What You Bring:**
Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of direct outside sales experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of sales leadership experience
Minimum of 3 years security industry experience
Must have P&L knowledge and experience within the budgetary process
Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Must have proven track record of successful recruitment campaigns, which produced successful account executive as well as new business representatives
Self-motivated individual, possessing a high energy level and a desire to achieve goals beyond what is required.
Business acumen including sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
Ability to understand and communicate in todays technologically-based business environment.
Ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution or sales with customers.
Ability to clearly articulate business drivers, understand key financial and total cost of ownership concepts.
Strong process discipline and the ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue and share.
Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
