    Project Management Engineering Assistant

    Description: A Project Management Engineering Assistant job in Rockford, IL is currently available at Belcan in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time direct position with benefits that requires a local, onsite presence. To be considered, you will need an Associates or Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years' experience with similar work. In this job, you will be the hub of communication and provide support for several projects.

    Job Duties:

    Generate, coordinate, and document communication related to testing within the project team

    Create and maintain engineering documentation

    Track and record all Engineering Coordination Memos (ECMs)

    Generate and manage schedules and tracking of ECM responses

    Review test plans to ensure coverage of all requirements

    Use provided tools for change management creation and collation of data and generation of documents

    Act as a hub of communication for internal and external stakeholders and customers

    Required:

    An Associates or Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years" experience with similar work

    Skilled with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project

    Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to provide attention to detail

    Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly organized

    Preferred:

    Knowledge of or previous experience in aerospace export control procedures and regulations

    Previous experience in a test lab environment

    Understanding of engineering test report documentation

    Knowledge of or previous experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $62,400 to $70,720. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
