Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mega Fabrication, Inc. dba Piranha is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Rockford, IL office. This is a full-time position with responsibilities as outlined below.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Verify account information, products needed, shipping and payment methods to accurately enter and manage orders
  • Follow up with customers regarding leadtime, and other changes or delays
  • Provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints while working with technical service and other managers
  • Work with production control, purchasing, warehouse and accounting personnel as necessary
  • Assist with obtaining quotes for aged items
  • Investigate exchanges or Return Merchandise Authorizations, while verifying legitimacy of customer claims
  • Investigate and report late shipment reasons
  • Other duties as assigned

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Utilize equipment manuals and Syteline to assist customers in identifying required parts
  • Become an expert user of Syteline (ERP system) and Cisco phone system
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office
  • Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Great attitude, strong work ethic and flexible team player
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to take direction/ work under limited supervision and take ownership of task

VALUABLE EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong analytical, organizational and auditing skills required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to access a computer for up to four hours continuously
  • Demonstrated Leadership
