    Job Summary

    The Sales Manager, Office Coffee Service position develops and leads the implementation of our office coffee services strategy in the vending channel, and is accountable for driving revenue growth and profitability of this channel by partnering with our key vending partners in the US. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of growth and innovation in the organization.

    Job Responsibilities

    The key responsibilities of this role are to deliver budget and KPIs, manage forecasts and orders for vending channel, manage distributor relationships, liaise with On-Premise sales team to identify leads and opportunities and close new vending business opportunities. This role will work with the technical department to ensure quality and technical parameters are being met and hold self and team accountable for results.

    Sales Management
    • Ensure channel delivers its sales targets annually, including revenue, margin, account acquisitions and all KPIs
    • Maximize sales and profitability using various applicable strategies across the U.S.
    • Develop and continuously strengthen relationships with vending partners and top customers to ensure account retention and growth
    • Work collaboratively with VP of Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations team to secure resources needed to achieve targets
    Vending/Distributor Management
    • Develop annual sales programs and growth goals for each partner/distributor and continuously manage to achieve targets
    • Design and deliver effective presentations and business reviews to align partners/distributors to achieve required results-semi annually and annually
    • Conduct quarterly sales trainings and work withs with distributor sales teams.
    Product and Market Knowledge
    • Maintain current, expert knowledge of all products including coffee, tea, systems and equipment as well as relevant options for each market
    • Maintain knowledge of key competitors pricing and route to market and work collaboratively with Marketing and Finance and Sales leadership to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace
    • Train and coach partners on maximizing product knowledge and placement
    Budget Responsibility
    • Plan, execute and forecast revenue and expense budget
    • Annual budgets/projections working with sales leaders, track expenses vs. budgets including trade spending and travel and entertainment
    Administration
    • Submit monthly forecasting workbooks including updated sales pipeline and forecasts
    • Ensure that all sales documentation and operational procedures/guidelines are followed in an effort to meet our commitments to the customer
    • Maintain organized employee and business records; sales metrics, performance, attendance
    • Develop and submit monthly expense reports, tracking and status reports
    Job Qualifications
    • BA degree in business, marketing or like field;
    • 8-10 years sales management experience, selling premium goods/consumer products
    • Ability to forecast sales and understand P&Ls
    • In depth customer knowledge across all core markets
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and orally
    • Demonstrated consistent results and track record of success in large and small companies
    • Must be able to use a consultative selling approach for all sales
    • Must be resilient and intuitive
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong computer skills specifically with Microsoft Products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Must have creative problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to instill the Core Values of the organization and live by these values daily
    • Strong, positive presence with team and customers
    • Ability to travel as needed up to 50% by air
