Nathalia Mariano

I have multiple years experience in fashion retail specifically second hand retail. My first job was at Crossroads Trading Company in the Williamsburg location. I was initially trained as a sales associate, carrying out tasks such as organizing the sales floor, assisting customers into the dressing rooms, and finalizing transactions through POS. after A few months as an associate I was promoted as a buyer. As a buyer, I was responsible for assisting customers who were interested in selling their clothing. My second full time job was at 2nd Street USA, a Japanese buy and sell company. I started off as a sales associate and quickly moved up to top buyer and eventually as an assistant manager. As an assistant manager I helped lead the store team by assigning specific floor tasks and ensuring great customer service. I helped with opening and closing the store as well as floor shift schedules for a smooth store operation. At the end of the day during my closing shifts I make sure to create a report on the days store operation and counting out the register. I believe that I can quickly adapt to new work spaces and form good relationships with my coworkers and customers.

My background education is in the arts. I attended LaGuardia High school for 4 years and graduated in visual arts. I briefly attended Fashion Institute of Technology for fine arts. I am currently not in school.
