    Title - Partner Manager - Technology Partnerships (Insurtech)

    The Partner Manager - Technology Partnerships (Insurtech) drives value to Duck Creek by building strong partnerships with other software vendors that extend and enhance the value of the Duck Creek platform for our customers. In this role, the partner manager will support partner development strategy and manage partner growth. Specific responsibilities may include partner prospect research and relationship development, due diligence, partner agreement negotiation, development of joint value propositions and marketing materials, sales support (including conferences and trade shows), partner readiness related activities, and ongoing partner relationship management.

  • Manages engagement with a portfolio of Solution Partners, across the full partnership life-cycle. Builds mutually strategic relationships to include joint product development, marketing and sales opportunity development.
  • Conducts prospective partner due diligence, including arranging and leading meetings with cross-functional Duck Creek teams.
  • Onboards new Solution Partners. Helps prepare partner marketing materials. Plans and manages partner launch activities.
  • Assists with Partner Readiness activities such as training, certification testing, and associated tracking.
  • Conducts market research and sources prospective partners.
  • Manages negotiation of partner agreements in association with Counsel and Sr. Partner Manager.
  • WHAT YOU'VE DONE:

    Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of experience with business-to-business relationship development and management
  • 5 years of experience in financial services technology, preferably insurance services and core software
  • Minimum of 3 years of enterprise software partner business development & partner management, or sales experience with demonstrated results
  • Sales and sales management experience
  • Negotiation and contracting experience
  • Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Experienced professional with full understanding and ability to apply theory to practice
  • Knowledge of P&C insurance with a strong understanding of the Underwriting and Claims management processes
  • Knowledge, or ability to rapidly gain knowledge, of Duck Creek product suite
  • Other Requirements

  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
