    The Senior Account Manager reports to the Senior Director of Sales for a key customer and is responsible for a key customer product line sales and customer level product satisfaction. The position is responsible for the growth, product penetration and viability of ASM Front-End products worldwide. To accomplish these responsibilities, the Account Manager will formally and informally lead the program team and work with the ASM Key Product Units (KPUs) to oversee ASM interests in marketing, sales, and execution; process performance; hardware/software performance and product evolution.

    Job Summary

    The primary responsibility for the role is to lead the sale of ASM products (systems and upgrades), developing and maintaining key relationships, ensuring robust execution is established and maintained for product lines at a key customer. This role is onsite and will require up to 25% travel.

    The Senior Account Manager position requires close engagement with the customer and the ability to drive strategic account management objectives with the customer. It requires the ability to successfully establish relationships within the account to sell complex technical solutions. It also requires the abilities to provide leadership to the Account Managers, KPU personnel and maintain contact with high-level personnel at the customer to influence the need for ASM's differentiated product solutions. The position requires successful interaction with a multiple of internal KPUs, and support organizations to successfully support a key customer. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the development of an account strategy that enhances ASM's ability to engage in future technology collaborations, enable incremental sales of our existing product offerings and support after-market solutions for our installation base at a Key Customer. In addition, the following responsibilities are required:

    • Supports our "safety first" culture throughout the organization.
    • Thinks strategically, with the ability to drive execution across the organization.
    • Primary owner for all contractual and commercial issues between ASM and customer.
    • Facilitates coherent communication between customer, KPU and support organization.
    • Represents the product lines as the senior point of contact and commercial interface with the customer.
    • Develops and maintains a technical proficiency to anticipate customer requirements and applications for future business.
    • Prepare sales and business plans with recommendations to product lines for development opportunities.
    • Manages order book and forecast for the applicable product line(s)
    • Manages resolving complex commercial issues in the customer working groups.
    Education

    BS / BA in Engineering discipline.

    Master's or MBA preferred.

    Experience & Skills
    • 10+ years in Account Management, Sales, or related Sales support activities in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment Industry.
    • Account management experience with key customer required.
    • Project management experience required.
    • Previous history in management of five or more personnel.
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills to an executive level
