    Description

    Job Description: We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Tax Accountant to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will handle the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and offering valuable tax planning guidance to clients. This position is a great chance for someone who is enthusiastic about taxes and keen to make a difference for our clients.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accurately and efficiently prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
    • Interpret and research tax laws and regulations for compliance and to reduce tax burdens for clients
    • Deliver tax planning and advice to clients, which includes analyzing financial information and suggesting tax optimization strategies
    • Support clients during tax audits and interactions with tax authorities
    • Stay updated on tax law changes and share pertinent updates with clients and colleagues
    • Cultivate strong client relationships and offer exceptional service
    • Collaborate with team members to identify ways to enhance processes and effectiveness

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
    • CPA license is a plus
    • At least 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related area
    • Thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations
    • Proficient in tax preparation software such as ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Keen attention to detail and precision
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
