    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team.

    The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing various tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maximizing tax efficiency for our clients.

    This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.


    Responsibilities:

    Tax Planning and Compliance:
    Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.


    Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.


    Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising clients and colleagues on the potential impact of these changes.


    Client Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on tax matters.

    Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

    Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings and to understand their specific tax needs and goals.


    Research and Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, interpreting findings and providing recommendations to clients and colleagues.

    Analyze financial data and documents to identify tax implications and opportunities for tax optimization.

    Assist in resolving tax disputes and representing clients during tax audits or examinations.


    Team Leadership and Mentoring:
    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, assisting in their professional development and growth.

    Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of tax accounting.

    Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve collective goals and deliver exceptional service to clients.


    Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the tax department, implementing changes as needed.

    Participate in training programs and continuing education activities to stay current on tax laws, regulations, and best practices.

    Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

    At least 4 of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate and individual taxation.

    Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel; experience with tax research tools preferred.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them effectively.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.

    Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop junior staff members.

    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
