    Job Description:

    We are looking for a tax and accounting expert to assist to facilitate the accurate preparation and filing of the company's state and federal tax forms. This team player will assist to create and implement tax plans and works with the accounting and leadership teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk. Assist to ensure compliance with state, federal, and international tax law through a series of systems and system controls that are designed to ensure accurate, timely reporting. The ideal candidate is singe minded in their pursuit of ensuring compliance, and achieves this goal through optimizing reporting procedures and driving the successful function of the tax team.

    Location: Fresno Targeted Compensation: $90-105K Annually

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Benefits: Full Benefits Package Other

    Job Duties:

    Assist in preparation and review of company federal tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms.

    Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax returns and other business-related filings.

    Find and implement opportunities for process improvements in company tax procedures.

    Assist in developing and implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.

    Provide support with various audits and special tax related projects.

    Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.

    Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.

    Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

    Experience Required:

    Public Tax Accounting experience. (3-5 yrs.) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills Problem-solving and time management skills Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and QuickBooks Compliance with US and California tax reporting requirements

    Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required (Required), CPA license preferred
