    A well established Middle Market Private Equity firm in Dallas, TX, is looking to add a Business Development Deal Sourcing Analyst to their team. The team is comprised of industry experts and investment professionals dedicated to driving exceptional results and fostering long-term success for their portfolio companies. Given the flatter nature of the organization, this individual will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the continued growth of the firm while gaining extensive tangible experience, in a Deal Sourcing and Business Development Role.

    As a Business Development Deal Sourcing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing potential investment opportunities that align with the firm's investment strategy and financial objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled team and make a significant impact on the growth and success of the firm.

    Business Development Deal Sourcing Analyst Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential investment targets, industry trends, and market dynamics.
    • Proactively source and evaluate investment opportunities through networking, industry events, conferences, and various deal sourcing channels.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, executives, intermediaries, and other relevant professionals to expand deal flow and sourcing capabilities.
    • Perform thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation modeling, and risk assessment.
    • Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities associated with potential transactions.
    • Collaborate closely with the investment team to support the execution of transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and deal documentation.
    • Monitor and track industry developments, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify potential implications for investment strategies.

    Business Development Deal Sourcing Analyst Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Growth Equity, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Business Development, or related fields with a proven track record in deal sourcing and/or cold calling
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and internal team members.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
