    Job Description:

    The Senior Security Technology Analyst at BBH supports in managing and advancing security technology for data, systems, networks, and applications. This role involves assessing and implementing products and procedures to boost security efficiency and effectiveness. The Senior Security Technology Analyst offers direct assistance to both business and IT teams regarding security-related matters.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Information Security
    • Aid in developing and executing security systems and associated software.
    • Assess requests for new systems or changes to existing systems to determine their security impact.
    • Regularly monitor reports to ensure the effectiveness of current and new security technology.
    • Collaborate with system owners to safeguard the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of data in corporate databases, servers, workstations, or during network transmission.
    • Contribute to designing and implementing disaster recovery plans.
    Security Product
    • Evaluate and implement products and procedures to enhance security measures.
    • Offer post-implementation support for new security technologies.
    • Research upcoming security products, services, protocols, and standards to support security improvements and innovations.
    • Suggest, deploy, and oversee additional security products, tools, or updates to existing tools.
    Security Support
    • Provide direct support to business teams on security matters.
    • Educate the business about security policies and offer advice on security concerns.
    • Act as a representative for the organization's security requirements, providing expertise and support on all IT projects.
    • Aid in formulating and enforcing IT security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
    Education and Requirements:
    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in systems or equivalent training.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Prior experience in the financial services sector.
    Knowledge and skills required
    • Familiarity with BBH's business and operating methods.
    • Understanding of industry security standards and practices, including relevant data privacy and protection laws.
    • Knowledge of network and security components such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and data encryption.
    • Sound understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network admin protocols, including vulnerabilities and solutions.
    • Proficiency in operating platforms, database systems, and related products.
    • Technical expertise with Checkpoint Firewall I is beneficial.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management capabilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
    • Having a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is a plus.
    • Additional security certifications are advantageous.
