    Join Our Team as an IT Business Analyst at CES!

    At CES, we are a team of highly motivated and innovative individuals dedicated to providing excellent services to our clients. We value growth and offer an exciting and collaborative work environment. With our main office located in Philadelphia and satellite offices across multiple U.S. states, Canada, Japan, India, and Vietnam, we are expanding our Enterprise Data Service team.

    We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in managing our centralized data repositories, data warehouse, enterprise reporting capabilities, and transactional systems. Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Engaging with business line leadership to understand their needs
    • Collecting requirements for software development projects
    • Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
    • Collaborating with the development team on solution designs
    • Assisting in testing and data validation activities
    • Participating in production support analysis

    Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience as a business/systems analyst in custom software development
    • Proficiency in creating business requirement documents and specifications
    • Skilled in designing reports using tools like Microsoft SSRS
    • Ability to write SQL queries in tools like Microsoft SQL Server
    • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
    • Experience in Data Modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
    • Experience with agile and/or waterfall projects
    • Innovative mindset to drive process and tool improvements

    Preferred Skills

    • In-depth experience in business analysis within U.S. electric power wholesale markets
    • Understanding of Wholesale Energy, Billing, and Settlements
    • Experience with Microsoft SSAS Cubes and Atlassian SDLC tools
    • Proficiency in advanced Business Intelligence and Dashboarding tools
    • Experience in designing user interfaces for web applications
