    The Role:
    JCDecaux is currently seeking a Senior Purchasing Buyer, who will report to the Director of Program Management. This position is on the manufacturing side of the business. You will be sourcing and purchasing goods & services for custom designed products, that will be utilized for our Street Furniture, Airport, and Mall contracted properties.

    This is a full-time position is based in our main office at the Empire State Building and will operate in a hybrid work model.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Negotiate with the suppliers and set up purchase orders to follow through process.
    • Collaborate with Director of Program Management to help manage and support orders for ongoing projects.
    • Experience utilizing SAP ERP system to analyze data to make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Evaluate and Audit key suppliers on a regular basis.
    • Work with internal teams including Finance, AP and Operations.
    • Organize purchase orders, quotes and design drawings from engineering.
    • Purchase sheet metal products & custom welded assemblies.
    Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Minimum 6 years' experience in Purchasing.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Strong negotiation skills to obtain the best value for the company.
    • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven experience sourcing new suppliers.
    • CPM/APICS membership.
    • Familiar with metal manufacturing facilities, equipment & processes.
    • Able to read multi-level Bills of Materials.
    • Extremely organized and efficient.
    • Familiar with Quality Control systems.
    • Understanding of Purchasing & Invoice process flow.
    • Experience purchasing a variety of commodities such as aluminum sand castings, plastics & extrusions.

    Additional Information:
    Base Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
    Disclosed as required by the New York City Pay Transparency Law
